Happy Wednesday! So?!?!?!????? Are you totally in LOVE with our new artist?? Yeah, me too. Today I made a card set to send to a friend using the Hip Hop Squad set, coordinating dies and some of our new paper!
I only had time to whip up 4 cards for my set, but you could easily make a card for each color... these cards are quick and great for assembly line making! Just look at all of those fab colors!
I stuck with the 4 colors from my papers for the card bases, the egg colors, etc. This helped me make things a little quicker so I wasn't spending time choosing colors (which can sometimes take me forever! lol). I did add some greens to accent the flower leaves. So first off I colored up my bunnies using Copics. I didn't do any patterns on the eggs, because again I was trying to keep this kind of streamlined, but I did add some rhinestones to the green egg and some confetti things to the pink egg.
Once my bunnies were colored and die cut out (yep, those coordinating dies are AWESOME!) I just layed them on my white base so I could place my "window". The frame of my window is the same cs as my card base, I also used the window die on the white so the floral paper would show through. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set in the lower right corners using a dark gray ink. The white scallop base piece is popped up from the floral, as is the bunny!
I took a scrap piece from the floral paper and added it inside and stamped the "Happy Easter" in the same dark gray ink. I really love how cute these turned out and how quickly they all came together!
Finally, I stacked up the colored envelopes and the cards and tied a pretty ribbon around them all. Oh, so not only are these super cute, but they are flat-ish meaning no extra postage! and yes I did include stamps on the envies so they are ready to address and send!
Well that's it for me, thanks for popping by! Remember the whole new release is available in the TRHD store NOW!

Holy snickerdoodles do we have a lineup for you today!!! First of all, if you've come here from the uber-talented Seeka's blog, then you're right on track! If you've come to my blog other than via the TRHD Hop, then you'll want to be sure to follow the hop list at the bottom of this post. This is a crazy-exciting release for TRHD, as they are announcing a fantastic new artist, Tatsiana! For the March release (which is available NOW in the TRHD store!) there are 6 new stamp sets and 5 coordinating dies, 2 new paper packs, a new bunny bag and a Limited Edition Ephemera pack (by Tatsiana!) There's a whole buncha awesomeness in the line up (scroll down to check out the awesome names hoping with us today!). For my card today I used the Spring Delivery set and coordinating die along with the Clouds in my Coffee stencil (which is currently on sale!).
I had so much fun coloring with this one! Remember the Clouds in My Coffee stencil from a few months ago? Well as soon as I saw this scooter-dude I couldn't stop thinking about those clouds for a background! I used Tumbled Glass & Stormy Sky Oxide inks along with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes (and my little color clips from Make It by Marko) for my clouds. I used a few Copic markers for the grass, then went over it all with some Peeled Paint Oxide ink to fill in the white a little.
I colored up the Bunny's scooter and his pretty flowers with Copics, adding a few teeny rhinestones to the flower centers. Once it was all colored I used the coordinating die to "cut" him out.
I made a little boo-boo on my bunny so I decided to paper piece him instead of coloring him. Just to make his face pop a little, I added a blue rhinestone for his eye.
For the sentiment I used a chat bubble die and stamped it in the middle. It seemed a little plain to me still so I inked up the flowers in the basket with some of the Tumbled Glass ink (it's very close the color of the cs). It just adds a little bit of a textured look, so it doesn't look so flat.
Well that's it for me, your next stop is my wonderful teamie, Tanna. Incase you need it, here's the complete hop list for today (didn't I tell ya there was a fab lineup?!?!?).

Happy Wednesday! It's day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs February Release Hop and today we have a super cool stencil! This is called the Corner Mandala stencil and it is FABULOUS!
I decided to foil mine. I taped my stencil in to place and then slathered some Transfer Gel all over my stencil. After letting the gel dry for about an hour (per the instructions on the jar), I then layered my Rainbow Deco foil over the top and then ran it through a hot laminator. One bit of advice I have, do a thin layer of paste and keep the layer as even as possible... this will give you cleaner foil/stencil lines.
This is kind of a wonky view but it shows the foiling pretty well. Once I decided which part of the stencil I wanted to use, I trimmed it down to 4.125" square. This stencil is 6" x 6", I could have easily cut the foiled piece in to 4 3" squares and made a cute 4 pack of cards! The sentiment is one of my favorite phrases, and it's from the Sassy Sentiments set. I also added a colored in heart using the Open Heart stencil.
Well that's it for me, here's the complete hop list for today... be sure to pop by and visit the rest of the team!

Happy Tuesday! Today's release hop is showing off the new 1 Line Happy Easter! Oh my gosh, so many fun possibilities for this stamp!! For today I just made a simple card.
Scroll down to see the actual set. I stamped the image on white and colored it in with Copics, then I trimmed off the part below the line and his paws. I did edge the bottom in black just so it showed better. Then layered that over a floral paper.
Next I stamped the sentiment in Lagoon ink. I used the Open Heart stencil to color in 3 hearts (colored with Copics) and added little rhinestones to the hearts. Finally I added a twine bow to her ear. I just love how this turned out!

Happy weekend! Happy BIRTHDAY weekend! lol It's day 2 of the TRHD Birthday & Misti Collab hop and today we're inking up some cute lil bunny's! This set is called Je t'amie and I've paired it up with the new Open Heart stencil.
I stamped my lil Bunny fru-fru's on my main panel and them masked them off. I got my stencil in position and then using my Cotton Tail Blending brushes and some Candied Apple Oxide ink I added my background. I am loving my colored clips on my Blending brushes, by Make It By Marko! Next I colored in the bunnies with Copics.
I've used a MISTI for years and I LOVE it. I'm a visual person and I have to see things, sometimes when I want to stamp a sentiment in a color (not black) it doesn't show as well as I'd hoped. So this is another reason I love my MISTI. See below, I placed my sentiment on the MISTI and then inked it up with my red ink. Then I almost closed the lid... not touching the paper yet, but enough that I could see that my red ink would indeed show as well as I wanted. I finished stamping the sentiment on the panel.
I love the black mat behind my white panel, but it was still a little plain to me so I took all 3 heart stamps from the Je t'amie set and some white ink and stamped a kind of wonky border pattern all around. Perfect!!
Finally I added some of those same hearts to the white panel with WOW Embossing ink and some WOW Carousel embossing powder.
Well that's it for me, here's the complete hop list for today... be sure to pop by and visit the rest of the team!

Holy Snickerdoodles! It's a birthday party / MISTI collaboration! The wonderful peeps at My Sweet Petunia sent us some fun goodies to play with! I used the NEW Laser Etched Original Misti... so in LOVE!!! Perfectly stamped images EVERY time.
I sometimes get in a hurry with the stamping of the images part and sadly I sometimes mess up the image... this corner didn't stamp out or that side was too heavy/thick, but I just love how evenly stamped the images are with the Misti and I don't have to press down so hard!
For my first birthday celebration card, I used the Just Cake stamp set & Coordinating dies and the Party time stencil (all 3 items are brand spankin' new and available NOW in the TRHD store!)
I started off by making a "frame" with one of the candle stamps. I colored these in with Copics and added some Sakura Stardust glitter pen to the flames.
Next up I stamped my cake and a few more candles, colored them up with copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out. Before attached the die cut pieces, I used the Party Time stencil, a paint brush and some Glitz Glitter Gel to add a few "sprinkles" around the white space. Finally I popped up my cake and added the 3 extra candles.
Well that's it for me, here's the complete hop list for today... be sure to pop by and visit the rest of the team!

Happy weekend! It's Sketch Saturday (scroll down to see the sketch). I got out some coffee themed goodies and had some fun! Sometimes my coffee cards lean towards darker colors, so I found some patterned paper for the heart in something pretty and bright/pastel-y.
My side-strip is some really old but fun ribbon in a dark pink, from my stash. The woodchip designs are popped up for a little extra dimension. The sentiment is from Blended Sentiments 2 (TRHD) and I stamped it in black and then added some coffee beans (also from ^^ that TRHD set) in Ground Coffee Distress Ink. There was still a little too much "white space" so I added a couple of splashes from the A Splash of Color set (Altenew), they're paint splashes, but the one I used looks great as a coffee splash!
Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon! Check out the sketch below and hope to see you play along at Sketch Saturday! You can link up your entry >here<.

Welcome back for day 2 of this month's release hop! I had some serious fun with the new Clouds in my Coffee stencil and paired it up with the Caffeinated Parrot.
The Clouds in my Coffee stencil comes with TONS of great cloud edges and shapes! There's the main stencil piece, there's the "frame" negative piece and there are also 3 stand alone cloud shapes! I started off with those 3 loose clouds. I positioned them on my base and then blended some Milled Lavendar Distress Ink.
Once this layer was done, I used the main cloud stencil piece and went to town!!!!! I started at the top of my card base and worked my way down. I just started with 1 piece of an edge at a wonky angle, then turned to another edge and so on. I used Stormy Sky Distress Ink for the blue, then finished off the bottom with a bit more Milled Lavendar. Cloud stencils are awesome because they really are SUPER hard to screw up! Trust me, if mine look decent yours will ROCK! lol
I used a die for the "grass" at the bottom. In my head Parrots are gorgeous Jewel tones, so I grabbed some vivid jewel colors and inked up the Parrot. I cut him out an popped him up. Finally I added some sequins from my TRHD stash (ya know those pretty packs MaryAnn & Heather puts in our packages??) and voila!!!!

Happy Monday! It's the end of the month and that means it's time for The Rabbit Hole designs Release Hop! Today our cup is overflowing with Caffeinated goodness (hahahahahaha, see what I did there?!?). I'm sharing Rory - the Caffeinated Raccoon and the Chain Mail stencil. I'm also pairing this up with the current Color Throwdown challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
I started off with a cream piece of cs and positioned my stencil. Then I added some embossing ink and clear embossing powder. Once that piece was heat-embossed, I went over the whole piece with some Walnut Stain Oxide ink and wiped the ink off of the embossed parts. Then I used a Cover Plate die. The base of my card is a Cranberry cs, if you look closely I stamped the Caffeine formula on the parts that peek through the cover die.
Next I colored Rory with some Copics. Keeping with the Cranberry, Cream and Kraft color palette. I cut him out and popped him up on my card base.
Finally, my sentiment is from the Caffeinated Parrot (peeking tomorrow) set.
