Her planner also has weekly layouts, but when I decorate my Monthly views I always make sure there is still room for writing things in! Thanks for stopping by!

Hey yall! It's time for another month of Krafty Skrappin'!! The only rule is, it CAN'T be a Kard!! Just about ANYthing else goes!! These are the September pages for my Mom's Planner (yep, I decorate EVERY month with Kraftin Kimmie's images by Cheryl! You can see the rest of the year >here<). For September I used SMARTY PANTS & YOU'RE A HOOT.
For the Smarty Pants kids, the owl and the books I colored them on Copic paper with Copics then cut them out. The branch and hearts are stamped directly on the planner. Added a splash of Washi (cause EVERY planner needs Washi!) and Voila!!! Perfectly cute and plenty of space to write on still!
Visit the Kraftin Kimmie blog for more DT inspiration (there's TONS of samples on there!!)

Hey yall!! I'm up on the Kraftin Kimmie blog today as Hostess for this week's Wonderful Wednesday! As always, the theme is ANYTHING GOES! Every month I decorate the monthly pages of my Mom's planner (and my own, and DD's), I used the KEEP SWIMMING set by Cheryl for Mom's August pages. Oh, I should also mention that I use "Cheryl sets" for all of Mom's monthly pages.
I keep the pages mostly "clean" so she has plenty of writing space, so for this side I just used Lucas & the cute lil' Turtle and a smidge of some summer Washi.
And Lulu is getting some "fin" time with a cute dolphin! And a bit more Washi... clouds seemed fitting :-) When I color these I normally stamp them on XPress paper and color them with Copics, then just cut them out. Well, that's it for me, be sure to head over to Krafty Blog for some more Krafty Girl inspiration and then don't forget to link up your own kreation! You have 2 weeks this time since July peeks are next week. Happy Krafting <3

Hey yall! Happy weekend!! Today's Kraftin Kimmie Challenge is hostessed by Miss Brianna and her theme choice is RED WHITE & BLUE!!! Once again I've prettied up my Mommy's planner pages and for July I've used the MAKE YOUR OWN MAGIC set, and doing it up all "patriotic-y" (yup, it's TOTALLY a word!).
Lucas makes a totally adorable "wizard", but he looks quite dashing "mixing up fireworks" too!
And Lexi looks adorable in her Patriotic attire :-)
And dressing up a puppy is fun no matter what color scheme or holiday, lol! I added some (punched) stars here and there and some Washi! Now it's time for you to get inky!! Be sure to pop back over to the Kraftin Kimmie blog to see some DT Inspiration and to link up your creation!!! Happy crafting and Happy Independence Day!!!!

Hey yall! It's time for another Kraftin Kimmie ANYthing but a Kard challenge! Once a month we challenge YOU to make anything your little heart desires, as long as it isn't a Kard!!
I'm sure yall have seen these all over the place, but this is my first attempt! I've made a Shaker Book mark and a Planner Clip! Both feature sentiments from the ALICE IN WONDERLAND Krafty Komeback.
I bought these clips awhile ago from Freckled Fawn (they have super fun embellies!), anyway I like them because they are quite long! I used a great Folded Tag Die (@Reverse Confetti) and just cut it to what I needed. Because it's small I was able to keep it simple, I stamped the sentiment on the base piece then just add a bit of confetti. Done!! I can't wait to use this on the book I'm reading!!
Next up I made a clip for my planner! How perfect is this sentiment for a planner?!?!? lol For this one I just grabbed some scraps of a paper pad I love (that bottom layer is actually gold foil... ohhhh shiney!!). Instead of digging out some fishtail dies, I just pinched the corners together and snipped... easy and even! The tops of those fold over the top layer of the clip, I used a piece of packing tape over the back edges (fold over edge) just to keep it securely in place... packing tape is so nice and clear it doesn't even show!! I punched a couple of hearts, again from scraps, added a couple of rhinestones (ohhhhh more shiney! lol) and then added a little BG15 to a wood chip arrow. I LOVE how this turned out! It was fun, quick and EASY! I made both of these today while watching Harry Potter!! Well that's it for me, be sure to head over to the Kraftin Kimmie Blog for more inspiration and to link up your creation!

Hey yall! It's time for Kraftin Kimmie's Wonderful Wednesday! Today I'm sharing the May pages for my Mom's planner! Sorry for the pictures, I took these BEFORE I fixed my "camera issue". Anyway, I used the TALK TO THE ANIMALS set.
Lulu is "totes adorbs" chattin' with her peeps! I just stamped a few flowers here & there with some pale ink... light enough to write over if need be, but still cuts down on some "white space".
And of course you know I HAVE to have anything with froggies in it, and Lucas is just perfect!!! I once made a cover for my cell phone using another Lucas & froggie stamp, RAINY DAY FUN (retired). Sorry for such a quick post and for the crappy pics :-( Be sure to link up your Wonderful Wednesday Kreation on the Krafty blog!

Hey yall! Welcome back to another Krafty Peek!! Today we're inkin' up a set from Cheryl called BLESSINGS OF PEACE! I used these snuggley little cuties to pretty up my daughter's March planner pages. Remember that phrase from Elementary school, March is in Lion, out like a Lamb? Or vise-versa? Meaning if you have cranky weather in the beginning then you'll have nice weather at the end.
We also have a couple of wedding anniversaries during March (one being hers!) and a couple of birthday's, and of course one of her fave meals... Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patty's! Honestly, how did we ever decorate before Washi tape?? I just LOVE Washi!! I added a few different Washi's to add to my month "theme"... anniversary/love them & St. Patty's. Well that's it for me, happy hoppin' and I'll see ya back here tomorrow!

Hey yall! Let's kick off the weekend with a great Kraftin Kimmie challenge!! This week's hostess is Krafty Girl Larisa and her challenge theme is HEARTS!!!!! These are the February pages I made for my Mommy's planner! This is the whole month spread but if you scroll down you can see the Valentines Day piece too.
My mom really likes Cheryl's sets so I am trying to use those each month. This is the YOU LIFT ME UP set, I colored her on XPress paper and then cut her out. She's easy enough to adhere to the page and not have to use sticker paper!
All of the hearts I used are from HEART TO HEART (Reverse Confetti), the "XO", Love banner & Tic-tac-toe stamps are from CRUSHIN' (Reverse Confetti). The "Heart Beat" die is a brand new die I recently got from SugarPea Designs... LOVE this die!!!
I kept the stamping light on this page so she can still write lots of "I {heart} my daughter"'s all over :-D Now it's time for yall to hit the Krafty Space and get INKY! Don't forget to pop on over to the KKS Blog to link up your Kreation!!

It's another peek day at Kraftin Kimmie! Today the Krafty Krew's inking up a great set from Annie, PARTY PEARL! I've decided to use Pearl to pretty up my planner! I do a lot of "large-ish" projects, meaning they take more than an afternoon or they spread over several days, a quilt is a good example. Staining and stressing new cabinets for the laundry room is another example. For tasks like these I like separate list, I don't want to lose track of them and this way I can do the smaller pieces of that project on specific days, etc. So for these, I like this larger "TO-DO" list, I used to use 3x5 lined post-its but this is prettier!
The list itself was a free download, I'll find it and link it up here. It comes in 4 adorable colors, but I chose pink for this one. I colored up Miss Pearl and then just adhered her to the bottom of this list. She's actually only adhered to the stripey part, this way once the list is all checked off, I can start another and not have to color another Pearl ;-) Lazy girl 101!!! The top of the pink list is adhered with removeable adhesive (just like a post-it note).
I grabbed a few fun dies to add a little more color to my list. I can write over or around them, and honestly, if they get in the way, I'll just pull them off. But I like the extra splashes of color :-) I'll be using that cute little binder clip below to hold it on to the current week page and I can easily move it from the left to the right side and not have to "flip" it or anything. Rhinestones are just too pretty and fun to not have nearly everywhere so I added a few to the Heart bullets here, they really aren't bulky enough to cause any issues. So below is the top half...
And here's a close up of the bottom half... I got so excited about this that I forgot to put the sentiment on it, but there's a great sent in the set "what's on the agenda for today?" It's in the bottom left corner on the set graphic below.
The bottom of the list just tucks right behind her chair and can be pulled out to toss and add another blank one.

The snowflakes and sentiments are from the Must Love Snowflakes set from CAS-ual Friday's stamps. I am so in love with the way this turned out, I hope my Mom loves them too!
Because I wanted some nice coloring for these images I opted for stamping them on my X-Press cs then colored with Copics. If I'm doing smaller images with less detailed coloring I'll sometimes stamp on sticker paper. The sentiments and snowflakes were stamped directly on the planner page. NONE of the images I stamped directly show on the backsides... I use a little bit heavier weight paper for my planners.
Well that's it for now, I'll be sharing lots more planner pages (I still mine and my DD's to decorate, lol). Thanks for popping in, don't forget to swing by the Krafty blog for more Krafty Krew inspiration and then link up your own Krafty Kreation!!!

Time for MORE PEEKS!!!! Whoop, whoop! Today the Krafty Girls & Guest are inking up a set that works great with the SHAKE IT UP set, or works just fine on it's own!! This set is called SHAKE IT UP: POLAR BEARS. I used is on it's own, and I used it to "cuten up" my daughter's planner. As you hop around you'll be able to see it in action with the snowglobe too!
From time to time my daughter will bring her planner to my loft and either stand in front of me with that charming smile or she'll leave a smiley note on it if I'm not in there... it means her planner needs some more cutesy! This seriously was so quick and easy ANYONE can do it!! Even if you have minimal supplies, or minimal coloring skills, ae just getting started or are a pro at all 3!!
One of the things I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE about coloring winter snow-type stuff's is that you can use any color... just grab your "pales"! I used my palest B's, BV's, Cool Gray's & BG's (Copic-speak). You're really just coloring the shadows and leaving the rest white! Check out the stamp set image below, you'll see that the Polar Bears are "naked" so added scarves to two of them, antlers to another and added the snowball piles. The "let it snow..." sentiment is from the set, but the snowballs below is a sticker.
I just carried my "scene" across the whole top of the calendar, but these guys are such a great size, that I could stamped them randomly on the page and it would have still been great! Also, because there was minimal coloring and blending here I just stamped them right on the page (no sticker paper or specialty paper). Though I should mention that our planners are NOT on basic printer paper.

Hey yall! Welcome back to another day of Krafty Peeks!!! Today the Krafty Girls & Guests are inking a fun new set called SHAKE IT UP! While this set is perfect for making some super great shaker cards, I used it to make a book mark for my daughter's planner!
Minimal coloring here, I stamped the snowglobe pieces on some patterned paper and cut them out. I stamped the penguins and colored them in with Copics and just adhered them on the teal "snowy" paper. I love the way the pieces are broken up, so you can assemble your globe in sooo many different ways! Just to dress up the top I added some ribbon snippets and stapled them to the top. There's still some room to add more post-its if need be to this book mark!
Here's a better picture of my simple snowglobe. So quick and easy and way cute!!
I have some of these plain post it notes... I added the purple sentiment from the set to the top, then stamped some snowflakes around. The snowflakes are simple enough that they won't get in the way of writing! This set is VERY versatile, and it's simple enough that I can whip up a super cute planner bookmark in no time!!! Hope to see you back here tomorrow! Happy hoppin'!

Hey yall!! The Krafty Girls are back with another batch of swimmingly adorable peeks!! For today's peek I made a dashboard for my planner, a SHAKER dashboard using KEEP SWIMMING... I LOVE how it turned out!!
So this was WAY super easy!!! I have some leftover 6x8 PL sheets, this one has 2 4x6 pockets. The background paper is from Simple Stories (Good Day Sunshine), and I added all of my colored images with Pop Dots. Instead of sequins I used some gem beads I bought at Michaels in the Jewelry section... LOVE the look!! I used WASHI tape to seal up the slits, this was I can change up the insides any time!!
Post it notes stick perfectly!!

Hey yall!! Happy Wednesday! I'm this week's Wonderful Wednesday hostess on the Kraftin Kimmie blog. As always, the theme is ANYTHING GOES! So I grabbed some fun SPRING-Y stamp sets and and had my way with DD's April Planner pages! We have some construction going on at the house this week, so getting time in the loft has not been so easy, this was so stinking quick to put together!! Honestly, the longest part was stamping those boots on sticker paper then fussy cutting... and even that was easy peasy!
Pretty much I used the BUDS & BLOOMS & YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE (new) sets, some colored ink and some washi! For the solid blooms I used some Ombre pads, and for the line art blooms and leaves I just grabbed some Impress Fresh ink pads & a some Distress pads.
I stamped the rain boots on some sticker paper and quickly colored it in with an RV14 Copic, then added some black stickles... LOVE! Voila, that's it. Colorful, pretty and still with room for her to write! She does have week pages where most of her writing is, but she still has some room here too! We hope you'll get inky and join us for Wonderful Wednesday, be sure to link up your projects >here<, and don't forget to share on our Kraftin Kimmie Friends fb page... we LOVE when yall share!!

Hey yall! Welcome to the first day of peeks for the February Release!!!! The weather here has just started getting in to the upper 60's and quite honestly I'm more than a little ready to warm up a bit!!! Perfect time to break out some adorable Spring stamps!! For today's peek the Krafty girls are inking up a new se from Becky called HELLO SPRING! I was immediately inspired to ink up my planner!!!
This is my March month-at-a-glance, March is a little busy for us this year (DD's wedding, my anniversary, 2 family birthdays, Easter andSt. Patrick's Day... of course we celebrate this!) so I used my stamps for just the bottom half. I stamped my bunny and gave him a bubble blower, on some sticker paper then colored him in. I wanted more shading on my Sheep, so he's on regular Copic Coloring paper. I also stamped some flowers on the sticker paper then punched them out with a small circle punch and "sprinkled" them around the page.
Oh my goodness!! Would you just look at those cute lil Bunny-hiney's!! These cuties are also colored on Sticker paper. I LOVE the size of these critters... perfect for tags, planner pages AND cards :) Well that's all I have for today, see ya back here tomorrow.
