Hey yall! Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, it's Tuesday and I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog with this fun Slimline card using Spellcaster Witch and Things a Witch Might Say. Let me just say that I have been trying to shop for some fun Slimline card goodies (dies, etc.) for weeks now and have been so busy I haven't found time… so I cheated today! lol
For the inside of my card, I used the Cotton Tail Blending Brushes and some Distress Ink to create a "night sky" look. Once this was done I used a bat cluster die (an old one from Ranger/Tim Holtz) and placed, then taped where I wanted it to be. This die works by leaving the negative behind… thus my bats showing through to the black cs base.
Now, for the front! I used a squiggle die to get that curved top cut out. I used it on the card front and lined it up on my white cs. I colored our cute lil Witchy-poo and her potion cauldron with Copics and used the coordinating Spellcaster dies to cut them out. For the pot I added some GIna K Glitter Gel to the potion inside and then some glitter pen to the fire… sparkly fires are the prettiest fires! lol
I stamped some bubbles above the pot in some Mountain Mist ink (Altenew), I was going to color them in, but I really love that color and they looked great "as stamped". The sentiment from Things a Witch Might Say, was stamped in purple on a fun tag die and popped it up. Then I added a couple of the bats from the die on the inside piece to my card front.
Well that all I have for ya. This was a simple card with some fun angles & measurements! I HAVE GOT to find some time to shop for Slimline goodies!!! lol Thanks for popping by, hope to see ya again soon.
