KCC: #492, AnyThing Goes!

Happy Thursday yall!  This is the 5th Thursday of the month so it must be ANYTHING GOES!  For my card I used the MUG LIFE set (Ink Road Stamps).  This is the SET, there is also a great MUG LIFE background stamp (I have to too!).

This was just such a quick and easy card to put together, but I really love the colors!  The layout is this week's Mojo Sketch (thanks Julee!!!).

KCC: #491, All Occassions

Happy Thursday!  This week's Krafty Chicks Challenge is ALL OCCASIONS!  This is a great time to add a few cards to your sending stash!  In fact, this month's STOCK YOUR STASH challenge is Love is in the Air, so I'll be linking up there too!  I made a little Happy Heart Day card using some Reverse Confetti goodies and an old SFYTT!

The patterned paper is from the FROM CUPID pad (Reverse Confetti).  I used the PATTERNED HEARTS stamps & dies, stamping 2 of the heart images in CORAL and SALSA ink (Reverse Confetti) then die cutting.  I used the larger heart die with some pink glitter paper (Concord & 9th) to layer behind the smaller hearts.

I finally added a few pops of Black Nuvo drops in 2 corners.

TCC: #127, Cozy Cabin

Happy Thursday!  Would ya just look at all of that warm and cozy-ness for this week's challenge?!?  I just love that the textures and colors in this photo!!

For my card this week I grabbed on to the Moose on the pillow and had some fun!!!  The stamps are all from Merry Christmoose (SugarPea Designs).

I am so glad that I got the coordinating dies for this set, makes cutting out soooo easy!  So first off I stamped the moose and trees and colored them with Copics, then used the dies on them!  Whew!  

I also kind of mimicked the cabin in the photo by angling my plaid panel... I like it!

Finally, I didn't want this to be a "christmas" card so I used non-Christmas colors on his scarf and used the Birthday sentiment... I think this would be a great Masculine birthday card! THAT was a happy accident because I am awful at masculine cards, lol.

KCC: #490, January Week 3 Clean and Simple (CAS)

Happy Thursday!  I am this week's hostess over at The Krafty Chicks, and since it's Week 3 of the month that means it's CLEAN AND SIMPLE!  Funny that I'm the one hostessing the CAS challenges, because I soooooo struggle with CAS mostly... guess I'll be better at it soon enough!  lol  For my card I used the FRIENDLY HELLO set (Concord & 9th)... it was a freebie!

I paired up the set with the current FRESHLY MADE SKETCHES challenge.  I started off using a few dies from the CARD FRONT ELEMENT BUILDER set (SugarPea Designs), the smaller scalloped panel and then the angled edge piece with some white cs.  Then stamped on the white part left.

I really love the way this turned out, not sure it's as CAS as it should be but it's a start, lol.  Here's the sketch...

KCC: January Week 2 challenge, Christmas!

Happy Thursday!  This week's Krafty Chicks challenge is CHRISTMAS (every 2nd Thursday we do Christmas cards).  For my card this week I grabbed some TRHD goodies and paired them up with Julee's current Mojo Sketch!

I am so in love with this CAFFEINATED REINDEER stamp & coord die (The Rabbit Hole Designs), and I'm pretty sure I NEED a robe with candy canes on it!  The paper pad I used is SUGAR PLUM (My Minds Eye).  For the image panel I also used a scalloped panel die and lined it up so it just cut the right-most edge.

I colored up that cutie with Copics, and inked the sentiment in LEAD ink along the edge.  Unless I actually have black on my cards I really like LEAD ink (super dark gray) for sentiments better... call me weird!  Anyway... I used a Christmas Tree die (very old from Verve) along with some "Coffee" ribbon & a pink button/twine and then some really old blue ribbon (I think from Stampin' Up a million years ago?) along the top!  I feel like I haven't made a card in so long (with the holidays & all) it felt great to get a little inky today!!

TCC: #126, Time to Celebrate!

Happy almost weekend!  I'm a little late with this post, so sorry!  Look at all of those warm tones and shimmeries in that inspiration photo!  I just love the golds on black the shimmer on the bulbs and form teh candles!

For my card I used the HELLO die (Pink Fresh Studio) on some Gold Glitter paper (Concord & 9th) and backed it with black cs. I found the music note paper in a Christmas pad and it seemed a perfect background.

I really loved the clocks in the inspo photo but I didn't have any, but I did find some wood gears in my embellie stash!  The color was NOT what I wanted to so I went to work and fixed that, lol!  

Using my finger I dabbed on some TIDY WIDY TEXTUREZ (Shimmerz Paints) on those gears, then let it get good and dry.  Using some CORAL REEF INKLINGZ (Shimmerz Paints) I kind of dabbed/painted over the Teturez.  Once it was dry it was still a little too pink for me so I went over with some GOOD AS GOLD INKLINGZ (Shimmerz Paints), just some dabs here and there.  It was perfect!  It gave it kind of a rose-gold kind of look.  I really love how it all turned out!

KCC: January week 1, Stamp Act

Good morning everyone!  Happy Thursday!  The Krafty Chicks are kicking off a new year with a new challenge format!  Each week will have a theme, the first week of each month will be STAMP ACT (must include stamped image(s)).  For my card this week I used some goodies from Concord & 9th.

I used the COFFEE BLEND stamp set & dies (Concord & 9th).  Pink & green is one of my fave color combo's, in fact it's the color palette of my loft!  So I used the turnabout stamp for my background with 2 shades of green, a pink and a melon/belini color.

I stamped the large mug from the set in Belini and used the coord dies.  The oval, "enjoy" and both hearts are also dies from the set.
