4CCC: Hello, Love!

Eeeeekkkkkk!  I'm so super excited to be Guesting this month with the super sweet and talented ladies of the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge blog!!!  They post challenges every THURSDAY and the challenges are a fantastic variety!!!This week's challenge is "1 Word, 2 Patterned Papers and 3 Hearts" and Miss Leanne is the hostess!  For my card I grabbed some fun dies from Reverse Confetti, there's not a lick of stamping on this card and it feels a little weird for me! lol

I had lots of fun with dies on this card!!  The "hello" die is die cut from the heart paper and then that whole panel is popped up.  I think those fluttery heart dies may be my fave dies ever, lol!  This was a great challenge!!  Can't wait to see what you come up with, don't forget to link up your creation on the 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge blog!  One of my goals this year is to send out more cards... Hello, Beautiful!

Well I am slowly but surely gettin' myself inky again after all of the holidays, etc.  For this card I combined the January SFYTT and the January Mood Board over at Butterfly Reflections.  I absolutely LOVE the colors on the Mood Board, they are so pretty!  They are kind of wintery still, but without being Christmas-y and they just made me feel cheery. :-) The stamp set is called ONE DAY AT A TIME, (by Reverse Confetti).  For the purple tag I didn't want to use a solid cardstock so I "sponged" it with some Wilted Violet Distress Ink. 

I split up the sentiment, stamping "beautiful" on a piece of patterned paper, then kind of curling it up a bit before attaching it with pop dots.  For the Coral/Peach color I used some  Nuvo Mousse and a stencil (I have a HUGE love affair with Nuvo Mousse!)  LOVE the layers and textures!  I can't wait to mail this one out!

Coffee & Friends

Life is very slowly getting back to normal after the holidays and this year I've made a goal of sending out cards.  I made this card last week using last week's Freshly Made Sketch #319.  I used the Caffeinated Cups stamps & Dies, and the sentiment comes from Be A Barista (which I think may be retired).

I just LOVE this teal, lime and brown color combo, the papers are from MME.  I stamped the coffee cup on a pale blue patterned paper, then stamped the "sleeve" pattern in brown and colored it in with Copics.  I also added a dab of Espresso Liquid Pearls in the flower centers.  Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon!
