Hey yall! Welcome back for another day of Karfty Peeks!! Today we are inking up All Steamed Up, an adorable Steampunk set from Annie!!! This charming gent and the GREAT sentiments with this set make for some GREAT masculine cards!! This one is hubby's since Valentines is right around the corner 😉 I think he'll appreciate the lack of pink, lol. The layout (which is so perfect) is this week's Deconstructed Sketch (scroll down for more deets).
I colored Mr charming with Copics and then "fussy cut" him out and popped him up. I was so excited when I saw Jen's sketch for this week… it was just so perefct for this card! The sentiment is stamped in some Gina K White Pigment on a dark gray cs, of course the shape was punched out with my NEW Stitched Circle Stax (soooooooooooo LOVE them!). I replaced one of the shapes on the layout with some Seam Binding… I LOVE the texture it adds!
And in keeping true to one of my goals for the new year… I decorated the inside! I grabbed some scraps from the front side, punched out some coordinating shapes and VOILA! Less mess to throw away AND a great inside!! Here's a gander at the new set, and just below that is a list of the Krafty Girls & Guests.
