Hey yall!  In honor of NATIONAL COFFEE DAY (which in reality should be every day, let's be honest!)... I'm playing along with the Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  You really should check it out, there are some amazingly brilliant, stampy peeps playing along!  For my card today I used this weeks Kraftin Kimmie Weekly challenge sketch, along with Hey Hot Stuff! and Coffee Crusader for the sentiment.

DS170 & RC Color Challenge, Let your Dreams Take Flight

Here's my card for this week's Deconstructed Sketch, #170.  Jen's given us another fab sketch to play with!  This layout has so much character on it's own it was perfect for layering it up with fun dies and a simple sentiment!  I grabbed my Reverse Confetti goodies and went to town!!  I used the Paper Crane set for the sentiment.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing with Reverse Confetti dies,,, the shapes are sooooo fun!  Can you see the Chevron Pretty Panel?  I'd been dreaming of a die like that!  The sentiment is stamped on the banner piece from Tag Me, and I added a few flowers from the Petals and Posies.  One of my Krafty Friends, Karen, sent me a paper pad with several colors but kind of basic patterns.... I had some serious fun with that pad for this card!!!  Oh and the brilliant color combo is this month's Reverse Confetti Color challenge.  I did need a little more texture on this card so I added a few enamel dots :)  and I've TOTALLY fallen in love with the look of Impress Fresh Ink... I stamped the sentiment in Pink Lemonade on Smokey Shadow cs... love the chalky look!!  Well that's it for me... happy Friday-eve, hope you have a fabulous rest of the week!

KKS Wonderful Wednesday, Hope your Day Rocks

Happy Wednesday yall!!  It's time for another Wonderful Wednesday, head over to the Kraftin Kimmie blog for deets on playing along!  For my card I used the NEW Cave Kids set and paired it up with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Better late than never DS169... Friends until the end

Here's my card for this week's Deconstructed Sketch, #169.  I LOVE the simplicity and flexibility of this sketch!  I grabbed some Verve goodies and got busy... instead of a circle I used the Jotted Heart die and paired it up with the Brighter Days stamp set.  Of course the heart wasn't complete with adding the Arrow die, plus I like the little bit of white to lighten up the focal image.

Kraftin Kimmie Sketch challenge!

Hey yall!  After spending a week tagging along with Hubby on a business trip I am back and ready to get my stamp on!!!  I am the hostess of this week's Krafty Challenge, and not only do I have a fun sketch for you to play with but I also have a little "somethin' somethin'" if ya play along!  For my card today I gabbed one of the sentiments from the Oz Sentiments set to make this quick and fun halloween card (this is going with a plate of baked yummies to a neighbor).  

I've said it before, but I REALLY LOVE Kimmie's Sentiment sets... in fact so much so, that I seem to be developing a habit of ordering multiples of the SAME SET!!!  lol  So to make sure that I have plenty of room for more Kimmie stamps I am giving away 2 Sentiment sets to one lucky player!

The one set is Kimmie's Oz Sentiments and the other is Kimmie's Fairy Sentiments.  I LOVE that these sets are so versatile!  To be entered all you have to do is leave me a comment here and then play along with this weeks challenge over on the Krafty blog!  This contest will end when the Inlinkz closes for the Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch...

KKS September Release Hop, You're Dino-mite!

What a fun week!  All of the new stamps are LIVE in the Kraftin Kimmie store!  Today the Krafty girls are showing off all of the new stamp sets.  This is lucas from the Cave Kids set... soooooo cute!  My layout is a Deconstructed Sketch from a few weeks ago.

KKS, Cave Kids

Happy Saturday!  Time for another Krafty peek :)  Today the Krafty girls are inking up the FAB Cave Kids set by the awesome Cheryl!  LOVE Lulu in pink green!  I grabbed the current CAS(e) This Sketch for my layout.

Just look at her CUTE pet Dino <3  I just had to add some White Sharpie Paint pen dots on him.  After your done hopping around, don't forget that today is KKS Challenge day and this week's challenge is ANYTHING GOES!  So grab your Kraftin Kimmie stamps and get stampy!  See you tonight at the Krafy Release Party!!!!!!

 

Kraftin Kimmie peeks, Trick or Eat Halloween treats

Hey there!  Welcome to another day of Kraftin Kimmie peeks!!  Today the Krafty girls are inking up the NEW Trick or Eat set from Annie!  I decided to get a little head start on Halloween goodies for the neighbor kiddo's.

I created a frame and band with my Silhouette, colored her in with Copics and added my sentiment to a die cute heart.

I found these super fun straws at the store, so for the lid of the jar I took some halloween paper and punched a circle for the lid and punched a hole in the middle for the straw.

I filled the jar with Candied Apple Candy Corn, I admit I bought them cause I loved the colors, but WOW are they yummy!  I also added some "dripping blood" to go with the band.  Oh and of course add a fun ribbon around the top.  Well that's all I have for you today, time to send you hopping along to visit the rest of the Krafty girls.  Don't forget to leave a little love at each stop and see ya at the Release Party on Saturday!

 

Kraftin Kimmie September peeks & DS168, Wild About You

Hey yall!  Happy peek day!!!  This month's release is unBEARably adorable! hehe.  For today's card I paired up the NEW Wild About You set with a brand new Deconstructed Sketch (the sketch and the DS girls list are below).

This adorable Bubbles Panda image was perfect for my card idea...  For the background (white) panel, I grabbed my polka dot template and went over it with a Distress Ink Embossing pad (after masking off the parts I didn't want) then embossed it with clear EP.  This gave me my "bubbles" then I grabbed a blending tool and a Spring Rain ink pad (PTI) and created a sky-looking background.  Just LOVE this look.

After coloring the image with Copics I went over her bubbles with some Glossy Accents... such fun textures on this card :)  There are THREE main images and TWO scenery stamps!! There are also FIVE awesome coordinating sentiments in this uber cute set!

DS167, It's a Good Day to be Happy!

What a perfect card this is for my day!  I got my hair did, which always makes a girl feel happy!  Then we had the most fabulous "Family Dinner" night.  Since DD moved out we've designated one night a week as "Family Dinner" night, and it's certainly starting off to be a great new tradition ;)  For today's card I combined Jen's fabulous sketch with some MFT goodies... LOVE the simplicity of this card and those colors are just too fun!  I'm working on a table runner and quilt in these same colors... yummy!!!  Check out the sketch, then drool over the DS Girl's samples then go forth and be stampy!!  Oh and Happy Friday-eve!!

Orange You Glad, Septemeber SFYTT

Well with school back in session, it's time to get stampy again!  Today I grabbed the September SFYTT layout to play with and some Reverse Confetti dies and stamps.  I just love this layout... so many possibilities!

I used the Fresh & Fruity Stamp set for the polka dotted orange and the sentiments, the Fresh & Fruity dies for both oranges and the leaves and my banner/tag at the bottom is from the Tag Me dies.  Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon!
