DS166, You are Simply the Best!

Well summer break is done and I've survived the first days of "Back to School" :D  Time to get back to stampy goodness!!  It's funny how quickly I forget how much I just LOVE playing in my studio.  Went upstairs today to get my Deconstructed Sketch card done and it didn't take long before happy just washed over me :)  Ok, enough gushy... let's talk stampy.  For today's card I grabbed the Wallflower set form CAS-ual Fridays.  I LOVE the colors of these papers, Fresh Air.

The frame for the sentiment is from the Silhouette store.  I stamped the Wallflower border in Dandelion (Memento) ink down the one side then took the smallest single flower and stamped it a few times in Canteloupe (Memento) ink.  Using Broken Glass (Vivid) ink, I stamped and cut out (I know, I NEED to get that die!!!!) one of the larger flowers.  I like the button in the center.  The banner border is the Award Banner trim die from Verve.  Boy does it feel good to get inky :)  Well that's all for me know, time for YOU to visit the DS girls then go get stampy yourself!!

Kraftin Kimmie August Release Hop!

Hey yall!  ALL of the August release is LIVE in the store and ready to jump in to your shopping basket!  For today's hop the Krafty girls are inkin up the whole darn release!    Yup, today you can poke around the hop and see fabby samples of the entire release.  Today I played with Hey There, Punkin... look at that sweet little face!!!

I wanted to keep the card simple, but I just couldn't deal with all of the "white space" around her, so added some spreckles with an Orange Spica, a Black Spica & a Sakura Stardust pen.  I soooooo LOVE fall!  If I could get away with decorating my house now I would, lol!  Now it's time for you to get hopping and if you haven't already, get shopping!! 

KKS: Frankie gives Candy Corn Kisses!

Today the Krafty girls are inking upthe NEW Candy Corn Kisses set!  I thought I'd get a little ahead on some Halloween Tags to use on the goodie packages we always make for the neighbors, and the current Tag You're It challange was the perfect inspiration!  I colored Frankie with Copics, cut him out and then popped him up on the tag.  I created the tag in silhouette, took 2 shakes... easy peasy!  Ghoulish Greetings is one of the sentiments from the set.  SO love this set and it is just perfect for tags & toppers and all of your Halloween goodies :)  Here's the whole set to check out and then off you go to hop along and visit the rest of the Krafty girls!

Kraftin Kimmie August Peeks - Call me QUEEN!

Welcome to day 2 of Krafty peeks!  Today we're inking up some queens!  This is Dragon Queen, and she's quite the hottie.  She's wearing a shimmery orange gown under her Copic Gray cape... perfect for a Halloween Party!  To glam up the card some I added some black rhinestones to the diamond border and some orange ones to the main panel.  For the sentiment I stamped in one of my new FAVE inks, Impress Fresh Ink... it has such a GREAT look on black cs!!

Kimmie also has this Vampire Queen vixen, both sets are being released this weekend!!

Hey yall!  Popping in with a quick post for this week's Deconstructed Sketch.  I just LOVE all of the great shapes in the sketch.  I used Birthday Trinkets from Kraftin Kimmie, popped it up on top of a scalloped circle and then gave it a beensy bit of color.

The paper for this card is from the Orange Blossom pack, by Samantha Walker.  Easy, quick but so NOT boring!
