My Time Made Easy Group Post: Crazy for Creativity!

It's finally release day and ALL of the new goodies are available in the My Time Made Easy store! Today I used the Crazy for Candy template and turned it in to a "fund jar"... to fund my Latte addiction :)

One of my favorite paper packs, All Steamed Up, was perfect!!

Add some pretties (ie., ribbons and buttons and twine, oh my!) and voila... a pretty "fund jar"! For my tag I just used Word and printed it out. We also have some awesome papers to make a "vacation fund jar" or a "video game fund jar" or just about anything else you can think of :) Please visit the rest of the DT to check out some more ideas with both of the new templates released this month and then GET YOUR CRAFT ON!!

MTME No Bones About It... For our 4 legged Trick-or-Treaters

Yes, we get some trick-or-treaters of the "four legged and furry" variety! Huck has a few "friends" in the neighborhood that come visit on Halloween! This is one of My Time's brand new templates, No Bones About It and the "tag" was made with the new Paws-itively Sweet stamp set, paper is Pampered Pets (all available tomorrow in the store!!). I made some homemade biscuits (the ones you see are Milk Bones, because I got everything wrapped and the extra's "disappeared", lol) for Huck's friends! Just Inklined: Clean Sweep!

I was so looking forward to coloring this image (Clean Sweep), I sat down in my "coloring chair" and went to town! Ahhh, the stress just melted off of my shoulders :) I was happy as a clam, until.... I know many stampers who color images and put them on cards at some later date, how in the heck do they do that?? If you are one of those peeps, YOU ROCK! I cannot, and I colored this image and had so much fun until I had to pick out some papers... it took me longer to find paper than it did to color :( So from now on I will go back to picking out my papers and layout BEFORE coloring!!

One of my favorite things to color this time of year are spider webs! Now someday, maybe, I'll get more creative and try something new, but for now I LOVE using a black Spica Glitter pen... I just LOVE the look! Perhaps if the spiders in my yard spun more glittery webs, I might like them better (not likely!!). Well thanks for popping by, hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Mark's Finest Papers October Hop, Day 3... Cracked Hello

For today's Cracked Hello card I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch (LOVE her sketches)! I used the big "cracked" stamp stamped with some Toffee ink, cut it down and for the middle panel... I LOVE the way it turned out! It looks like it was supposed to be one of the papers from my paper pack!! FABULOUS! The rest of the card is self-explanatory :)

I am LOVING this Poinsettia Blooms set! And I am such a sucker for the "nostalgic Christmas" look :) I stamped my Poinsettia with a Rich Cocoa ink before coloring it in with some Copics, I think I will be making several sets of this for Christmas!! Mark's Finest Papers October Hop, Day 1... Christmas Selections

Tags are something that I ALWAYS forget to pick up, and being a papercrafter wouldn't ya think I'd just make my own?!? Well it's high time I did and this set is just perfect! I'm Head-over-heels for Halloween!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge #73... Halloween Spirit

I just LOVE making Halloween cards because there are some AWESOME images out there!! This is one of my faves, this is Hattie from Kraftin Kimmie. I just love coloring with grays and Hattie looks fabulous in Gray :) The orange stripped ribbon and that gorgeous Black Crushed Silk ribbon are both from Ribbon Carousel! The paper is Chillingsworth Manor by Echo Park, also available at Ribbon Carousel. This sketch is SFYYT October.

Apple Dunking with SC406

Today I am posting my very first post as a member of the Just Inklined DT :D Here in Sunny Southern California it was chilly and a little rain-y and oh so fluffy cloudy! I LOVED it!!! I absolutely love this time of year and this weather makes me giddy :) For today's card I used Apple Dunking from Just Inklined and some fabulous Fall paper. My silk ribbon (yes, I have an obsession with silk ribbon) is actually a double bow, but I forgot to fluffl it before photo'ing. Paper and ribbon are from Ribbon Carousel.

'Tis the Season review

Today is My Time Made Easy's group post review day and we are reviewing this month's awesome 'Tis the Season packages!! This template is called "Gifted" and is a great size for a jar of jam, a candle, etc. I filled mine with a jar of Jam (seems like we give LOTS of those away as gifts). The paper I used is called Buttons-N-Bits and the strawberry tag was made with the Well Preserved stamp set. Be sure to visit the rest of the My Time DT for more gift wrapping inspiration :)

My Time Made Easy: Giving the gift of health!

Well since everyone of the kids in the house is sick, I thought I'd give them the gift of health :) I used the adorable Candy Wrapper template and filled it with some tea bags and some Halls Defense Vitamin C drops! The paper is from the Coffee Beans pack, I also used the Fancy a Cuppa? and Fancy a Cuppa Add-on stamps and stamped the Pear Pizzaz cardstock. For the two boys I left off the little flower "bouquet", the package in the picture is for Sissy! I just put these on their beds while they were sleeping and when they woke up feeling "icky" they had throat lozenges and the makings for a nice warm & cozy cuppa tea! Now if I end up catching their cooties, I wonder if they'll make me a little care package?? YEAH RIGHT!!!! lol
