Happy Thursday, Happy Sketch day!! It's time for another MTME Pretty Patterns Sketch! Visit this post for all of the deets on the sketch and how you can win a My TIme Made Easy Template of your choice! If you've followed me for awhile, you may know that I'm not really much of a digi kinda gal (hear me out here, lol), I love layers and texture and dimension. Well until I met Lauren's Digi Paper and then I went kinda crazy with digi paper :) Some of my all time favorite papers have come from My Time and are digi, plus I LOVE the flexibility that comes with digi papers. But when it comes to digi images, I really have a tough time... until tonight! As soon as I looked at this sketch today I knew I wanted to use the Tulip image from the Bee Loved stamp set. I used the digi version of this stamp set and grabbed the Tulip, then I duplicated it and flipped it... I just loved how the flipped version really filled in my focal shape. It was still a little "off balance" because of the single leaf, so I grabbed another Tulip, flipped the image and erased all but the leaf that I wanted and moved it on to the left most Tulip. The finished image... OMG! I couldn't believe I had done it!! I absolutely LOVE this card, mostly because I LOVE what I was able to do with just a single Tulip digital image :) I hope you play along with the MTME Pretty Patterns sketch team, can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Thanks for popping in!
