It's an "Easy" Release Day!

It's a secret surprise, just for you!  Are you 'In Suspense' to know who it's from?  This awesome little template is called "In Suspense", I filled mine with some Tea Bags, but it's a great size inside so you could fit any number of things inside!  And then it hangs on the door!!!  Both of the sentiment pieces on the hanger are from the A Secret Surprise stamp set (there is even a frame stamp that matches the cut out on the hanger!).  My little card is similar to the one I made the other day, but this time I stamped the sentiment right on to the cup!  Next time I think I'll use some Crystal Effects over the cup to give it a glazed look!  The sentiment on the cup is from Grab a Cup sentiment set.  So what do you think of the paper?  Yup, more of Kristin's!  This time I used her Coffee Beans set.  The whole team has some eye candy for you today, so be sure to visit everyone and say "hey"!  And if you haven't already heard, Miss  Debbie is the newest member to our MTME family... Did someone say Latte? Bring on the My Time Made Easy peeks!

I am so excited, this is my very first My Time Made Easy assignment/peek!!  Was this release just the most perfect time for me to start?  I mean really, Latte's & me?!  Woo hoo!  While I did focus on a "coffee" theme, this would also be great with Tea, Soup or anything else that keeps you "warm & cozy"!  All of these goodies and more are live in the store on October 1st!!  Make sure you also visit Lauren, Catherine, Lisa, Tracey, Tammy and our October Guest Designer Debbie! they have some more amazing peeks for you today!

Ok, so first off I started with the To Go! template to make this awesome cup (can I just add that a 12oz hot lid fits this cup?  Seriously!).  Now curves and me don't get along so well (I can't even sew a circle or curve), but this was beyond easy (and I was working on 2 hours of sleep!!).  When I give gifts of food or kitchen things I like to use cloth napkins or dishtowels instead of tissue paper, so here I used a brown cotton napkin to hold a couple of Biscotti's (they are delicious!  I know this because as soon as I took the picture daughter and I raided the cup and ate them, lol).  The 'Cup O' Cheer' sentiment on here is from the Grab a Cup sentiments set.  Look closer at the band on the cup...
aren't those swirls awesome!  The paper came that way... just perfect!

Next I took the Fancy a Cuppa template and made this awesome carrier!  Do you love that patterned paper?  I do too!  The amazing Kristin made it and it is in the All Steamed Up paper pack.  The sentiment at the top on the back piece is from the Grab a Cup sentiments set.  The little pink stamped borders are from the Grab a cup set, they can also be used to decorate the mug images.  Those sticks in the front are Mocha flavored coffee stirers (yup, daughter swooped one of those too, lol).

Finally I made a little tag to go on the bag of coffee I included, this sentiment is from the Grab a Cup sentiments set too.  That little peek of orangish/melon paper is from Kristin's pack too (can you tell I am loving that paper?!?

What gift is complete without a card?  The Cup is from the Fancy a Cuppa set, and I stamped it on another paper from the All Steamed Up paper set.  The brown paper is from the same pack.  I stamped another sentiment from Grab a Cup sentiments set and stapled some floss to it to make a HUGE tea bag looking tag.  Well, that's all I've got for you today, be sure to check out Lauren's blog all week for more peeks!  I'll have another MTME peek for you on Friday, and everything is available on the 1st.  Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by!

 

A Totally Witchin' Critter peek

You've Been Boo'd

We have been doing this for several years, and now my kids are a little old for the "You've been Boo'd" thing, but I'm not! :D  I have a few friends with younger kids so I'm gonna "Boo" them.  We normally get some kind of cute little basket or Halloween type bucket and fill it with goodies, so I made these little tags to attach to the baskets.  The fun Candy Corn paper will be released October 1st, so stay tuned!  The sentiment and the ghosts are from the A Spooky Surprise set from My Time Made Easy.  This set is available as a PREORDER here, or you can buy the digi set NOW, here.  There are LIMITED QUANTITIES of the acrylic set, which will ship October 1st!  I have a couple more ideas up my sleeve for this great set, but in the mean time check these out...

Arelia's World of Make Believe review...

Well obviously the Tangii Fairy is my favorite, but Arelia is easily my 2nd favorite!  I have been wishing for a fairy like her for quite sometime now.... hmmm, I wonder if Katie reads minds? lol.

Oh my heck I am sooo happy to be in my stamp room again!  First I had company for a couple of days, and we ended up running all over the place and coming home just too tired to play much :(  Then I started to catch the sinus ickyness that Hubby & the kids had.  Today I slept in and it was fabulous!  Boys were gone, hubby's gone... it was just q-u-i-e-t (obviously daughter was still sleeping, lol)!  I have several DT assignments coming up so today I allowed myself to play with some rubber that was just for fun, just for the heck of stamping!  I got a few Kraftin Kimmie stamps in the mail the other day and just had to get them inky!  Red just becomes her ghostliness, don't ya think? Today's Kraftin Kimmie Challenge was "Mostly Black & White"... which is funny because last night when I was thinking about what I'd stamp in the morning I was thinking of a Monochrome Hattie.  I did add some red and I think she's just too cute!  Hubby has a business trip near Halloween, I think I may tuck her away in his suitcase ;)  I also used the sketch from Mojo Monday... love this sketch!  Well, that's it for now, I'm gonna go and snuggle with my boy-dorks!  Come back tomorrow cause the PMS girls are participating in a special Blog Hop!

Paper Garden Halloween Garden walk

Welcome to Paper Garden's Halloween Garden Walk!  This month the Paper Gardeners are focusing on Halloween treat & goodie bags.  Cathy has stocked the store chalk full of all kinds of packaging for you to decorate and give away!  If you did not start this hop from the Paper Garden Blog, you will want to head over there to get the deets on how you can win a super cute stamp set!

For my goodie bag, I used a white bakery bag.  I took the sentiment stamps from my Bippity Boppity Boo set and stamped them sporadically on the bag.  I colored one of the witches from the set with my copics, turned her in to a tag, added some ribbon and filled the bag with M&M's and voila!  I'm going to make a handful of these and when the kids get boo'd this year I'll include some of these bags with goodies in them.  These would make great giveaways for Halloween school parties/trick-or-treating ;).  Have fun hoping along, but before you go my treat for you is...

Mojo Sketch with a JUGs Techinique

I LOVED this week's Mojo Monday sketch!!!  And this week, JUGs has a Technique Challenge... the creative juices started flowing and voila!  I have always loved the way the Cracked Glass creations look, but I've never tried it myself...OMG is it ever easy peasy!!!  I used the Old Fashioned Christmas set from JustRite (I won it from the Dare to Get Dirty challenges on SCS!!).  The Figi Pudding papers have that perfect old fashioned look to with the image!  This is still one of my favorite Christmas Paper packs!

Ok, so FINALLY I get to share with you my BIG news!  Well it's big for me, lol.  I've been asked to be part of the My Time Made Easy Design Team!!!!!  Woot woot!!!   I am just giddy to work with Lauren's AMAZING templates and digi papers, and stamps OH MY! lol!  And her Design Team... WOWZERS!!! I can't wait to start working with this amazing group.  Lauren posted a Guest DT call (check out this post and scroll down for the deets), but when she asked me to be a permanent member of her team I jumped out of my chair and ran around the house jumping up and down.   These are pics of what I submitted to Lauren.  I used the Card Catch All template along with the Down to Earth digi papers, the round label at the top uses the Well Preserved set.

My Catch All holds a set of these cards, using 2 more designs from the Down to Earth digi paper pack.  The focal image uses Killer Curves: Fancy Frames and Sensational Sentiments, I added a couple of teeny black rhinestones just to give it a little dimension.
