Today I took full advantage of the cold weather and rain outside and got my stampin' on!!  I think I am actually "prepared" for the stamping week (and that almost NEVER happens, lol!).  For this weeks TE Sketch Challenge, I used the Friendship Blooms stamp set and dies.  I just love this stamp set, so cheery and fun.  My papers are from one of Taylor's Key Ingredients kits from awhile ago, LOVE those kits!!!!  Latte's may keep my eyes open but they sure don't do much for adding to my Word Bank, lol!  Well, thanks for popping in, hope to see you again soon :)

TE Blast from the Past goes "Trick or Sweet"

Hey yall it's time for another Taylored Expressions Blast form the past!  Today I chose to use the "Hangin' Out - Wicked Wardrobe" set... I have loved this set since it came out last year!!  All of the "Hangin' Out..." sets are just oo cute!!!  Now, as much as I love the Sankari's sketches, this time I chose to use the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge from Friday (TESC148).To add a little more interest to my card I added some black rhinestones in varied sizes in random places on the card, I also used some super fine black glitter on the Ghosts nose and eyes :) And, of course, used thick vellum for my ghost.  I just LOVE making Halloween cards! Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge

Today I am stamping just for the fun and relaxtion of it :)  I used Taylor's Sketch challenge and a new Moka I recently won from TE...she's so stinking cute!! I always forget how very relaxing coloring it... ahhhhhhh!  While I do love paper piecing and her top is perfect for that, I really wanted to color, so I colored her top and then used my white Souffle pen to add some polka dots, I rather like the look :)  Well that's about it from me for now, hope to see you again soon!  Thanks for stopping by!

Are you Moody for Chocolate?

Welcome to the last day of PMS Peeks!  Tomorrow is the blog hop and release party!!! (see my sidebar or the PMS Blog for deets on the Release Party).  Today's peeks are all about Chocolate, and this is Moody for Chocolate!  And if you didn't come from the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog, you'll want to head over there to see some more yummy peeks!!  Earlier today I was thinking about what I wanted to do with this image, and immediately thought of when PMS Hostessed a Monochromatic challenge over at Copic Creations, Katie did the most amazing cards (you can see them here)!  So I grabbed my 'E' copics and got to coloring... Now I'm not near the color-artist that Katie is, but I was rather proud of my "chocolate card" (and I'm extremely happy that E93 is much more "rose" than chocolate, cause I was really wondering how I was going to get away with a brown cherry! lol).  See you back here tomorrow for the hop!

Paper Makeup Stamps September Sneak Peek Day 2

Today we are peeking the Nothing Left to Say set from Paper Makeup Stamps (available on the 7th).

I coupled my sentiment from this set with our Hugs & Kisses set.  I am in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with this paper (it was a prezzie from a rockin stamping buddy!  More on that later).  And this amazing sketch... is by the sketch-tacular Taylor (Taylored Expressions)!  This is one of those cards that there is just no way I can photograph it to do it justice.  I could easily make a set of these for someone, a fun easy card!!  Head over to the PMS Blog to see some more samples with this GREAT set and to see how you can win some goodies!!  Hope you have a fabulous looooonnngggggg weekend!

I FINALLY got my stamp room cleaned up (yeah, it's been trashed sine the Dare to get Dirty challenge, lol).  Yesterday I hung out with hubby & the kiddo's; then I made a yummy dinner for my MIL and we all hung out some more... such a relaxing day!  This morning I got right on cleaning my room so I could play!  I'm telling you, there wasn't a single clear flat space in my whole room!!  I have decided that my "summer break" is over and it is time to get back into some serious stamping!  So today I took some of my favorite challenges (some that I have missed terribly this summer) and threw them together and voila!  Of course I goofed on the Makeup 4 the Weekend challenge, cause my focal image was supposed to be a circle...hopefully Christi S will forgive me :)  I absolutely LOVE this sentiment from Paper Makeup Stamps!  Now, before this weekend goes away, I need to get more stamping done, so sorry for the quick post, but there's ink just screaming for me.  Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again soon :)

Chillax Chickie, it's another TE Blast from the past!

  

Hehehehe, hey welcome to the 2nd ever Blast from the Past Blog Hop for Taylored Expressions!  What an amazing group of talent there is participating in this hop... I am just in awe!!  anyway, I have loved this set ever since Taylor first release it!  The sentiments are fun and the images are just awesome!  I haven't been able to stamp in way too many days, so playing with this set was especially fun cause there are so many "fun" things you can do with it.  I wasn't able to use Dazzling Diamonds type glitter to the rim of the glass, so I tried some Shimmerz... loved it!  I thought of using Crystal Effects for the glass and pitcher, but didn't have time to let it dry so I just used some clear glitter pen on the liquid parts.  These bright colors are a little hard for me to work with, but once I got the idea in my head with this patterned paper, there was no turning back, lol.  I love the lime/lemon image and certainly wanted to  use it so I stamped it a few times on my yellow cardstock... love the look!  Honestly, the hardest thing about this set was that I couldn't decide which images I wanted to use cause they are all too cute! Oh yes, and because Taylor's Sketches are some of my absolute favs, I used TESC116.  Well grab your latte, sit back and enjoy the hop...there is some amazing eye candy out there!

Paper Makeup Stamps is sponsoring the current challenge at Copic Creations, which is Monochrome.  One lucky winner will get $35 to spend at Paper Makeup Stamps, but tomorrow at midnight is the deadline.  You can go to this post for all of the deets and some tutorials on Monochromatic coloring.  I LOVE black & white photo's, they just seem so elegant and classic to me.  So when I was trying to decide on which image to use and what color to go with, I thought of Lucy and immediately thought of black & white and LOTS of pearls (again with the pearls, lol).  This is not my first Monochrome card, but it IS my first time coloring Monochrome.  Very fun and VERY easy!  I think a set of cards using different colors would be fun!  I wanted to stay true to the challenge, but if I were making a set or something I would likely add a hint of pale color somewhere on here.  I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions. I've missed my blog and I've missed stamping!  Hahaha, it's only been a couple of days but it feels like it's been forever!  I recently stumbled across this Digi image company, Sassy Studio Designs.  I saw an image someone used for one of the challenges I work with... I loved the card and just had to pop on over and check them out.  Lucky for me they had just released their Digi Alice in Sassyland images... I was in love!  This is the same company I got the White Queen image I used a few days ago... LOVE THEM!  Since I have out of town guests tonight this is gonna be quick, but I wanted to give a shout out to Sassy Studio's (they just released some more new images).  This card is for their release challenge and I used Taylor's sketch challenge.
