Well a couple of weeks ago I showed you my card and a notepad I made for my stamp group, but I don't often get to show you what some of the other gals brought.
This was from Marianne's shoebox... I love these colors! And who doesn't love Verve images.

I love being able to make things for my family at Christmas time. My Mom goes through cards like they're water (lol, come back tomorrow to see the notecards I made for her), but my Gramma isn't so much in to cards, so I sometimes struggle with what to make for her. One thing that my Gramma always has by her phone is a notepad, normally one of those freebies the realtors leave on your porch, so when I saw these notepads at PTI I thought that'd be the perfect thing to make for her! Sorry for the horrible picture, but here is the inside...
There is a pocket on the left side and a white notepad on the left. I took a rub-on that says "I Love You" on the pocket.

This is for Lauren Maeder's Sketch challenge from just over a week ago. This was a fun sketch, there are like a gajillion fun things you can do with that frame idea!!! Not sure how well you'll be able to see it but the I used Versamark and Irridescent Ice over the whole snowflake image, so pretty irl!

Good morning! Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!! I needed to send a little gift to someone, and she loves candles, so I was trying to think of a cute way to package some little tealights I had (Pumpkin Spice, of course!). I remembered this Top Note Die purse we made at a Stamp Group I had a couple of weeks ago and thought it'd be perfect! I made the box part a little bigger to hold the candles (easy peasy), presto!! How fun is this?
The red & white purse is my sample purse for that stamp group. My friend Katie LOVES red & black and makeup, so I am going to send her a this little purse with some pretty makeup in it...very fun!! These purses are so cute and easy to make... can you imagine filling these with some M&M's or Kisses and a gift card for Christmas prezzies?? How cute would they be hanging on your tree??? Becky Robert's has instructions for these on her Blog (click on her name to go directly to them). Have fun!!
I apologize for the bad picture. This is my 3rd card for a recent swap I participated in. You can't see the details, but the brown scalloped top piece is popped up as is the red ornament. Here is another of my swap cards from the new Holiday Mini. I am getting better at making my swap cards more "do-able" (a little simpler than my normal 50 layers, etc.), this one was fun to make... lot's of 'random' stamping here and I got to use my Silver Encore pad.... I just LOVE that ink pad!!! I used Mercy Kerin's sketch #36 for this card... I love her sketches!!

And here's #2. The shimmery paper was so fun and pretty, but I had a really hard time using it. I originally cut this piece for the card on my previous post (the PMS Monday Challenge) and could NOT get it to work on that card. Well this is one of those cards that looks much prettier in real life, lol.

What a last couple of days :( First of all, New York kidnapped my hubby! We were so excited for him to come home last night, and some silly storm rolls in and he got stranded... so I spent my afternoon/evening yesterday getting him another flight and a hotel (yes everyone was booked because everyone was stranded) instead of getting my Blogger's Challenge card done and posted :(. I'll have it up by tonight. Anyway, enough whining... Here is my 2nd swap card. I like it, but it is certainly plainer & simpler than my normal swap cards. Last Monday's challenge for the Late Night Stampers was to make a Monochromatic card. WOW! Was this card quick and easy! To add a little depth to the focal image, I stamped the image and then stamped it again without re-inking the stamp, the 3rd image I stamped lightly on a scratch sheet first then stamped on my focal piece.
