At PMS we're putting a little "Spring" in our Hop!

Another February Calendar page

Well I already showed off the February page I made for my Mom's calendar, so here is MY February page.  Last week's Mojo sketch was my inspiration.  A couple of week's ago I found an SEI Club kit from last year and I just LOVEd the Heart paper in it!  There are actually 2 that I just love!  One of my favorite 'lovey" sentiments is "I just love you", I heard in a movie (can't even remember which one) years ago and it stuck with me.  The sentiment I used is from Paper Makeup Stamps.  Anyway, I just stamped it on a tag and then embellished the heck out of this page... I think I really like it :)  Of course my calendar hangs on my stand from Taylored Expressions, the stand my son stained for me :)  Are you playing Taylors Calendar challenge?  Clink on the button on my right hand sidebar to get all the deets!

January Calendar

Happy New Year!!!!  I am ready and excited to accomplish some goals and move on to some new things in my life :)  We are still making our Calendars, and soon I'll be making 2 sets (awaiting supplies for the 2nd, can't wait to make that one!!!).  I'll share details on the 2nd set soon.  This is my calendar for January, I got the stand from Taylored Expressions and my son stained it Black for me.  It looks perfect in my studio!  It doesn't look like Taylor still carries the calendars I used form last year so I downloaded this one from Cat on SCS.  I thought making a snow scene would be fun, ya know since we have NONE here in Sunny So Cal (thought lately it has been feeling cold enough to snow.... yes I know, we are pansies here!).  The snowmen are from Paper Makeup Stamps, Snow Happy set.  The large snowflakes are UBER glittery and fun!  I got these a while ago from Fabric Barn (the awesome ribbon place in So Cal).  Check out my Calendar buddies and see what they've done for January and if you'd like to play along with us each month, email me and I'll add ya to our list :) (there is an "email me" button on my sidebar).  Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon :)

PMS Winter Blog Hop & Rubbah sale!

Pretty Patterns sketch and a PMS Review...

Well kinda :(  My arm is still healing and I still can't grip a Copic (I know, seems tragic).  So I'll just tease ya a little here...

Today part of the Paper Makeup Stamps team is showing off some of the awesome November release (available now at the PMS Store).  Head over to the PMS Blog to see some goodies from the DT!!  Today I am supposed to be showing off Snowflake...

Isn't she just too cute?!?  She comes in both rubber and digi and she comes with her own little sentiment.  Sorry I don't have some inspiring eye-candy for you, hopefully I'll be able to whip something up soon :)

Paper Makeup Stamps Sneak Peeks, day 2... Tags Galore!

Today several of us are peeking the Color It Winter Tags set, from Paper Makeup Stamps.  I used the Gimp and the digi images to create a tag on my card, and then made several gift tags :)  I always seem to forget to buy tags come Christmas time, and you know that I am busy wrapping at the very last second (yup, sometimes it pains me a bit while wrapping, knowing that in only a few short hours the wrap will be torn off, lol!).

I made the tag larger and added the main sentiment, instead of recoloring the words, I used my Copics :)

I also made some tags with several of the images.  Made the tag the size I wanted, added an image and the "To" and "From" and voila... lots of tags :)  I actually made 2 of each and lined them up (all 8 on 1 sheet of paper) then I can print as many sheets as I need.  The images are awesome because you can use Copics and simply color them, use water colors or do some fun things to "spruce" them up (glitter, Crystal Effects, Fun Flock, etc.)  Well that's all I have for you today, pop on over to the PMS Blog to see more inspiration for this great set!

November Calendar Page

Finally, I get to post my November Calendar page :)  I know November should be a Thanksgiving theme, and trust me I LOVE Turkey Day, but November is also my Birthday month and in honor of my stamp room getting a "face lift" I decided to make my November page more in line with my Stamp Room.  My room is in Black, Baja Breeze and Antique Linen.  When I was working on my calendar page I grabbed some Baja Breeze cs, I held it up to my painted wall and started laughing that my walls match PERFECTLY!  Guess I love the color :)  One of my favorite quotes is the Mark Twain quote above and Paper Makeup Stamps has it in digi and rubber... LOVE IT!  Oh and check out this chandelier...

Isn't it gorgeous?  It's a "brush" and I found it at Scrap Girls. As soon as I saw this chandelier the whole page just came together in my head :)  Don't ya just love when that happens?  I used some Lemon Yellow Liquid Pearls and a paint brush to create the candle "flames" and then added plenty of rhinestones.  I am thinking I need this in my room :)  I wanted some patterned paper, but I really wanted it to resemble something in my room, then I remembered that My Time Made Easy has some amazing Houndstooth prints and wouldn't ya know it that she had it in my exact color :)  Both the calendar print and the frame are from Taylored Expressions!
