Forget greetings and formalities, tell me this isn't the FUNNEST guy set EVER!?!?!?!?!?!?! Ok, fine manners... Today the Krafty Girls & Guests are inking up a fabby new GUYS set called WILD & CRAZY GUYS, designed by the brilliant Emilie Goulet!! I combined my peek today with this week's Deconstructed Sketch (scroll down for deets on that!). So I've already found the most perfect Father's Day gift for my Dadd for this year, but I need a tag for it... VOILA!
Ok, seriously?!? LOOK at that splattered BBQ sauce and mustard!! Of course on his apron too! That was too much fun to make! I used some Embossing Paste and tinted it with a Tea Stain Distress re-inker. For the "splatter" I used a Tim Holtz stencil. For the mustard, I used the same stencil just a different part and used Chamomile and Lemonade Impress Fresh Ink Pads and a sponge dauber. I colored my "guy" with copics, cut him out and popped him up on the tag. The sentiment on the heart is also from the stamp set. Add a little "ruler" tape ribbon at the top, a button and it's done!!! Ok you know the drill, an image of the full set is below, as well as the Krafty Girls linkie list... drool over the stamp set, then get inspired by the Krafty Kreations! I've also got the deets on this week's DECONSTRUCTED SKETCH and the list of DS GIrls below! Happy Hopping!!!
Did you notice that last week Jen & The DS girls posted the 200th Deconstructed Sketch??? To celebrate 200 sketches, this week's challenge is... use your favorite sketch! You can find a FULL list of sketches here, then just use your fave! For my tag this week I used DS199, which wasn't posted too long ago... I was so excited about this sketch and had to miss that week so this was a perfect time for me to use it! And I'd say those spatters were perfect on my tag!
Be sure to check out the creations of the Deconstructed Sketch Girls for a little crafty inspiration and then head on over to the Deconstructed Sketch Blog to play along and link up your creation!
