Pucker Up, baby!

 

Today we are mixin' it up a little!  New stamps/old templates or old stamps/new templates...  I used the Pucker Up template along with a few stamp sets (the way these stamps mix & match is phenom!!).

On the label of my package I used the label from the Be Dazzled digi set, along with the sentiment from the same set.  I used Gimp to seperate the images from the set, color in the frame YELLOW and place the sentiment right  where I wanted it  (and sized both the label and sentiment to perfectly fit).  The floweres are from the Fanciful Flourishes set, these were stamped with ink :)  Sprinkle some rhinestones in the flower centers and Voila!  You're a Gem!!!!

For my card, I used this week's Mojo sketch.  Once again I used the Fanciful Flourishes set, this time using one of the Flourishes along with the flowers.  I stamped them in ink again on white cardstock, then grabbed the sentiment from the Sensational Sentiments set.  The sentiment is stamped on Vellum, just so it shows up a little bolder.  Such an easy peasy gift set and it looks...FABULOUS!

A year in review group post...Made Easy! and a Pretty Pattern Sketch!

Sooooooo, whatcha thinkin' 'bout the new release?  Is it not "the bee's knees"? lol  I've recently gotten started with this summer seasons' homemade jams :). Last year I made some Triple Berry that everyone loved, so I thought I'd make this little giftie set for some of the people in the office.  See, sometimes I am a VERY good sharer! lol

I used the Jam Packed template today, this box (and hole) perfectly accomodate my canning jars.  This one actually holds Peach Amaretto I have to match the Jam with my papers!  Which of course are also from this release, called Bee Mine.

I teamed up my wonderful box with a card using today's Pretty Pattern sketch.  Again using the Bee Mine paper along with the Bee-Loved stamp set.  The sentiment on the tag is from the Well Preserved set.  Head over to the MTME Blog to check out this week's sketch and the Sketch Team's fabulous inspiration!

My Time Made Easy Release day...

**ETA:  Here is my completed project :)  with some pamper me goodies inside!  Fabulous gift... easy peasy!!!

Happy Release Day! First of all, I am so sorry, but this post is going to be record short, I am horribly sick and am having a hard time being vertical :(  This is also why my project is so bland, I just didn't get a chance to get the fillers ready but when you come back on Sunday to see my next MTME post, I'll show ya the completed project and then some!  Today is a MTME Group Post so make sure you visit the rest of the team (I promise you there projects are WAY more inspiring!!), including our fabulous guest for this month!

The template for this is called Keep It, and is now available from My Time Made Easy.  The monogram is from the set called Monograms Defined and the "Friend" stamp is from the Sentimental Occassions set.

An Easter Basket and a Pretty Pattern challenge... Made Easy!

Today is My Time Made Easy's first Group Post for the April release and today we are showcasing the So Berry Sweet basket Template... the posibitlies of this basket are endless.  Next I'm making a Gardening basket with a  potted plant and plant seeds or a Spa basket, but today I have an Easter Basket for ya.

At full size this basket is a great size, but if you get the SVG version you can easily scale it to any size to fit any size goodies you can find.  I used one of the flowers from the Sensational Stems set and some VersaMark on the basket itself just to give it a little design, then I used the same flower and some Lavender ink on the handle.

For my card I used the Pretty Patterns Sketch challenge for today, you can get all the info here (it was my first post as the Team Hostess :) very exciting for me!).  So for this card I used some of the new fabulous papers by Kristin... I am LOVING the design and color palette!  The label stamp is from the new Occassional Labels and the words are from Sentimental Occassions both designed by the awesome Kristin!  Don't you LOVE them?!?  Of course the butterfly is from the Flutters and Flowers Cut file. An "Easy" Year in Review!

For today's group post I chose to use the Oh-K-Dokey Cut file.  I absolutely adore my Keurig machine, so much so that we got one for the office too :D  and now most of my office is addicted :)  I like to share ;) lol.  Anyway, I will be making one of these sets for several people in the office.  I plan to fill them with some fun sampler flavors, yummmmmmm!  Apparently I REALLY love the whole Artichoke & pink color theme (thanks Kristin).  This paper is from the newly released Wistful Wonder paper pack, and both sentiments are from the newly released Keep Strong stamp set.  Before you head off and get inky, stop by the rest of the DT as they are sure to have some amazing inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by!!

So, What's your angle?

One of the Mom's from my oldest son's group of friends is just so sweet and wonderful!  The other day she just stepped up and offered her help and I never even asked!  I'll tell ya, we have the greatest network of Mom's here!!  Well today we are showing off some more gift packaging, and I chose to use the "What's Your Angle" template, I am going to fill it with some homemade yummies for my wonderful friend who took such great care of my Cutie Bug when I couldn't be there.  When it comes to paper projects, weird angular things like this kinda freak me out!!  It looks soooo hard, but OMG!  the brilliant Lauren sprinkled her Pixie Dust when creating this template, and thought of everything!!  It is easy peasy!!!  I promise ;).  I just love how Lauren includes decorative panels in her templates, ya gotta know how much I just LOVE my layers ;)

My patterned paper here is from the Wistful Wonder paper pack (also just released).  For my panel here I used the Cornice Trimmed Circle (love all the layers here too!).  The "F" and "Friend" are from the Monograms Defined set, and I added a little detail with the branch and flowers from the Singing Silhouette set.  I just love how well so many things from My Time Made Easy work together!

MTME March Group Post is "For the Birds..."

Soooooo, are you totally in love with this month's release?  Today we are all showing off some card sets and great ways to package them.  I used the Mini Creative Card Candy Box template for my card holder.

For my 4 cards I used the Creative Card/Envelope #1 cut file and the Singing Silhouette stamp set, the fabulous paper is from the Cheerful Chirps paper pack being relesed in March.  This set comes with several great little sentiments.  So sorry for the short post, but make sure you visit the rest of the team for more great card set ideas.  Thanks for popping by!

A de-LIGHT-ful gift... made easy!

Today it's my turn to give you a little peeky at My Time Made Easy's March release (it is FABULOUS!), so you've seen some amazing birdcages so far but I've decided to use the Birdcage template to make a lantern!  

I even got a flamless candle from Target for the inside.  I love this so much I think it will find a place somewhere in my home :)  This is a lousy picture, but I just had to show you what it looks like as "mood lighting".  I cut some vellum and adhered it to the inside. 

 

 

 

 

 

I used the 6 petal flower and leaves from the Fanciful Flowers cut file.  I sponged it with some Milled Lavendar Distress Ink and followed Tim Hotz' tutorial (thanks Kristin for showing me this!).  After the flower was all assembled I airbrushed it with a little R24, sprayed with a little Baby's Breath Shimmerz Spritz and then dusted it with some Lily White glitter by Doodlebug Designs, I just LOVE the look.

And last but certainly not least, here is my card... my sentiment is from the new Keep Strong stamp set, and I added a couple of flowers from Sensational Stems stamp set.  The paper was designed by Kristin and is from the new paper pack, Wistful Wonder. Just a little Thank You, made easy!

Happy Friday-eve!!!  Today I have a quick, simple and SUPER cute thank you giftie!   A couple of weeks ago my little guy (who isn't really so little anymore) crashed his bike on his way home from school. His Math teacher happened to be driving by and pulled over and sat with him until his Sissy came to his rescue!!  Gotta LOVE our teachers!!!!  Anyway, I'll be filling this Pinch Me box with chocolates and a little gift card for her!  The card was quick and easy, (the Creative Card/Envelope 2 cuts all of the pieces for you!) and the box I made while chatting with some girlfriends over dessert!!!!  Lauren is just brilliant with these templates!!!  And if you couldn't tell, I am LOVING these Chocolate color combo's Kristin did with this months papers... stinkin' brilliant!!!  The butterfly is from the Bold Botanicals set and the sentiment is from the Framed Elegance set.

Wedding Party gifts... made easy!

Today is a My Time Made Easy group post, which means LOTS and LOTS of eye candy!!!  Today we are making some Personalized goodies, and since I still have wedding on the brain I chose to make some Wedding Party gift packages.  I used the Star of the Show template and one of the new papers from the Warm Serenity pack.  For my tag I used the Lovely Labels 1 with the new Monograms Defined stamp set.  This package is fabulous enough to WOW! the recipient, and "easy" enough to be able to make a handful, for the whole wedding party!  You could even make a masculine version for the Groomsmen!  Thanks for popping by, see you soon!

Kisses for my Valentine

Happy Sunday, hopefully you are having a wonderful weekend.  I cannot believe January is almost over!!  Time to start thinking about those Valentines.  Today I used the Shutt-erfly template from My Time Made Easy to make this little Valentine goodie box.  The inspiration for the colors are from the Mon Cheri kit from Paper Makeup Stamps.  The sentiment panel is from the kit too so there was no stamping on this project.  Easy as pie to put together... gotta love those quick and easy projects!!  I love the ribbon and  flowers on the top, here's a "birds-eye view"...

Tiffany blue... just for you!

Giving gift cards and gift certificates have become so much more fun since I've discovered all of the fabulous ways to package them!  This is for one of my friends... she has a thing for Tiffany's, thus the Tiffany blue "purse".  I was thinking she could use the purse (Tote-all package from MTME) to hold her saved up cash for her Tiffany charm, or for her craft-cash-stash.  The pocket on the front of my card, which holds a little tag for a Gift-cert to My Time Made Easy, is part of the Tote-all Package template from MTME.  The colors for my card are for this weeks Just Us Girls color challenge: coral, aqua & green.  Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a fabulous week.

MTME Faves of 2010...

I may have joined the My Time Made Easy DT late in the 2010 year, but I was certainly a fan and customer well before then!  So today, the DT is showing of some of their faves of 2010 (favorite template, stamp set, cut file, paper, etc.).  I used a smattering of it all!  My box is called The Flapper, the paper is from the Coffee Beans paper pack.  For the top of my box I used the Daisies from the Flutters and Flowers cut file, the smaller 2 flowers fit perfectly, but I could have easily resized them to whatever size I needed!  Finally I took one of my favorite sentiments from Sensational Sentiments set.  Love this little box!!!  Thanks for stopping by, I always love visitors!  Check out the rest of the DT to see their faves of the year...

 

MTME "For a Fabulous Friend" set

Soooooooo, I was starting to put some Christmas things away,  when I noticed some packages that weren't wrapped yet (yeah we still have some family we haven't seen yet :(), apparently hubby mixed up some packages that were supposed to be postal with some Christmas gifts that were supposed to go under the tree!  Oopsie!  But it did give me the opportunity to create this fabulous packaging for a VERY dear friend of mine!  I used the So Fortunate template, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE because it is so stinking simple and I loved the Chinese look I used the other day, but I also REALLY like this look too.  The paper on the box is from the A Loving heart digi paper pack (my friend ADORES black and pink!).  I used Killer Curves: Fancy Frames to frame my sentiment from the Sensational Sentiments set.  I put several pale pink rhinestones on the frame, for a splash of color.  On the bottom corner I took 2 roses and tied a black ribbon around the "stems"... so pretty!  I took a hugely wide black ribbon and wrapped it around the box and pushed the ends through the handle (this worked great at keeping it closed!) and tied it in a knot, tucked in a few more roses and DONE!  Easy Peasy!!  For my card I used the Fancy a Cuppa set, a few more rhinestones, more ribbon and another rose.  Very simple card!  For some more inspiration with this great template head on over and visit

Altered canvas

I just LOVE decorating canvases!  I made this for someone that works for me.  She just loves black & white with a splash of color so I used cream & black... thinking this way she could mount a black & white photo if she chose.  She is a GREAT photographer too!!  I just love things like this for gifts.  I gave her a piece of black card stock so she could mount her photo on it.  Thanks for popping in!  Hope to see you again soon.
