I know it's a few days late, but here is my June calendar page! Why a movie theme you ask? In my household we LOVE watching movies together and with school out we have some of our funnest "movie dates"! It is very hard for me to sit for 2 hours and not accomplish any of my many chores/tasks for the day, but something about snuggling with my kiddo's keeps me firmly planted right next to them until the very last credit rolls bby! Some of my favorite childhood movies was going to the drive-in with my family; we'd put on our feetie pajamas, get the HUGE bag of popcorn, grab our blankets and pillows and our sneakers (Mom said we had to wear our sneakers to play in the playground at the movie place). I so wish there were still drive-in theaters!
The tickets above the calendar are actually a stamp image from the set. I used Gimp to add the "Family Time" and movie projectors on to the tickets, then just printed it out on some Spring Rain cs. You can't see it too well, but on the black cs below the ribbon it says "here's lookin' at you kid". The random stars were just punched out of some sparkly black paper I had. Oh yes, and I must mention that my stand... it was stained by my youngest son, thanks doodle-bug!
